At Tabernacle of Praise Church (TOP), we strongly believe in the importance of family and community. We welcome you to become a part of our church family and share in our faith journey together. Step 1
WHAT MEMBERSHIP IS (AND WHAT IT IS NOT):
Becoming a member means becoming a vital part of our church family. A healthy family has common values and beliefs and members work together toward common goals. Tabernacle of Praise Church is a family church. Family members provide support, encouragement, and accountability for one another. This is God’s design for each of our lives. God wants us to grow in His grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Church membership does not provide personal salvation. Salvation is secured only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; by faith is His death and resurrection. Membership is not a requirement to attend our regular services or special church events.
Step 2
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
We ask everyone who desires to become a member of Tabernacle of Praise Church to attend our New Member Class. The classes are also taught by members of our pastoral and ministerial staff giving you the chance to meet them in a more intimate environment. Membership classes are offered each month for six weeks. Classes are held on Sunday morning at 8:45 am. Check out our church bulletin for upcoming classes.
Step 3
WHERE CAN I GET INVOLVED AS A MEMBER?
There are a variety of areas available to serve in at Tabernacle of Praise Church. In the six week of membership classes you will find out more about the many different ministry departments available for service. After the completions of your classes, department leaders will be available to answer any questions and assist you in deciding which area would be the best for you to get involved with. Once you have received the Tabernacle of Praise Church Membership Certificate of Completion, you can submit an application for the ministries you would like to serve in.
